I had some great plans for today. I actually caught up on all my "To-Do" list after being away for Spring Break, so I was excited to play today. Except that in the middle of getting my kids off to school this morning, I started to get a major Migraine. It's kinda wiped out my morning plans now...while I recoup.
So instead of showing you my finished project for the day, I'm going to share with you the beginnings and hopefully update it later today when I get a chance with the "complete" package.
I know that many of you have seen LOTS of Easter subway art printables out there. If you have a cutting machine and some vinyl, there are lots of options. If not, there are some really cute ones too.
I really LOVE this religious Subway Art Printable one from A Little Tipsy. This is one of my favorite songs and really touches me every time I get a chance to sing it in church. And I love how she made it really Easter-y (is that a word?) in the egg shape. Be sure to visit her blog for this printable in different colors to match your decor.
I love the bright colors and the decorated Easter eggs running through this Subway Art Printable from Tammy Mitchell Photography. It's so fun and colorful. You can download the picture from her website which is full of fun and helpful ideas.
With all the fun fonts and alphabets that I have, I LOVE the idea of Subway art and getting a chance to use so many on one project. (Normally that's a big NO-NO.) And I love the subway art that looks "crowded" and "full". So I had to make one of my own. It's designed to fit in a 8x10 inch frame, but you can re size it if you want it in a smaller one too.
Later this afternoon when I'm not feeling so drained, nauseous, and achey, I'm planning to run to Dollar Tree for a cheap frame to spray paint (isn't that one of the best inventions ever?) and to Hobby Lobby (hopefully that's where I can find what I'm envisioning since they have a 40% coupon this week) for some accents. Then I can show you the "complete" package on this cute Easter Subway art.
In the meantime, feel free to right click and save this picture. Go make your own, and be sure to come back and show me what you did! I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see!
UPDATE:
Here's a picture of my completed sign. What do you think?
